The mall has much fewer stores than it once did, so I find it pretty quiet on my infrequent trips there. JC Penney and Bath and Body are usually the only reasons I go there.
It's really sad when you see the mall, hardly any stores left at all! Everything closes in this mall! Gone are the good ol' days when we had Tilt, Goody's, Family Toy Warehouse, Auntie Anne's, Long John Silver's.... Even the big stores have closed- Macy's & Sears. I always hear rumors of rent being too high. That makes no sense to me because if it is so high that stores are closing, the renters wouldn't make any money! So I would think they would make adjustments so they could get some spaces rented out. This mall needs new owners, People who can give FSM the come back it so desperately needs & bring some GOOD shopping back to Steubenville! It's terrible that if you want to go to a good mall you've got three choices: The Highlands, St. Clairsville, or Robinson. All of which are over a 40 minute drive. If it continues in the direction it's going now, there will be nothing left to this mall before long.
The mall has fallen into a large empty space. .very few businesses remain. .very quiet and sad.they need to bring back businesses and it may survive a long time!
Simple place. The shops they have are great, and they have activities planned often!
Fun for kids at the mall! Skip walmart, there's better stuff around. I love the pet store.
